Families, friends and fans flocked to the fields for Belleville Little League Opening Day on Saturday. 

Little League President Tom Graziano started the day with his remarks. 

In honor of Roger Crowell, a Belleville native who died 45 years ago fighting for the U.S. in Vietnam, his son, Roger Crowell-Nugent, threw out the first pitch.
