So, Devils fans. Did your team do you proud?

The team is headed back to Los Angeles trailing the Stanley Cup Finals 3 games to 2 for an 8 p.m. Monday night Game 6 matchup with the Kings for the ultimate hockey prize —Lord Stanley’s Cup.

Patch asked Devils fans to let us know Saturday where they would be so we could take their photos and let them show their team pride. And, you fans did.

Prior to Game 5, Patch readers and Devils fans showed up with painted faces, “wearing the Red” and ready to cheer on the team.

The Devils are trying to become only the second team in league history to come back from a 3-0 deficit and win the Cup. Only the 1942 Toronto Maple Leafs have ever accomplished that feat.

So, now we’re hoping for a win Monday night and a return for Game 7 to The Rock on Wednesday night.

If you’re having a party to watch Game 6 Monday, let us know in our comments section or take pictures of you and your friends and we’ll feature them in our Neighborhood Gallery.

Either way, go Devils.

Why isn't the New York Times Sports section writing more about the devils? Sundays edition was blank? They referred you to the internet. For a paper that is delivered to many houses in Montclair (among other towns) the lack of coverage is an abomination.

They may if the Devs take it tonight. Remember that despite all else, Hockey's rank in the heirarchy of U.S. Sports is not stellar. How many Patch articles have focused on the Devs?
