Local Firefighters, Police Hit the Road for "Freedom Roast" Benefit June 16
The Ground Zero motorcycle run will be followed by hog roast in Clifton; proceeds will go to the Adopt-A-Soldier Platoon and Wounded Warrior Project.
Firefighters from the Bloomfield Fire Department will join the Clifton Police Benevolent Association for their 36th annual "Freedom Roast" on Saturday. Also participating will be Academy members from Belleville, West Orange and Orange.
The 10:00 am event will begin with a police-escorted motorcycle run to Ground Zero in Manhattan. At noon, the participants will return to the Clifton Masonic Temple for a hog roast barbeque and music-filled party. Musical entertainment provided by N.J. Rock Band Amp'd.

$25 registration/donation includes motorcycle run, food and beer/soda.
$20 donation for non-riders includes food and beer/soda.
$10 donation for passengers includes food and beer/soda.
$5 donation for kids ages 5-10 includes food and beer/soda. Kids under 5 are free.
