The sun broke through the clouds long enough to allow the Nutley High School boys soccer team to square off against the chiefs from James Caldwell High School on Saturday.

Earlier in the day, the Nutley freshman boys lost to the West Caldwell players by a score of 3-1.

But Nutley got its revenge, by scoring two goals against the varsity players to win the match.

The scrimmages took place during the Caldwell/West Caldwell Soccer Saturday celebration.
