Edmund Rossi, Ph.D., a Nutley native, was recently awarded an Edison Patent Award from the Research and Development Council of New Jersey. Rossi, a scientist with Immunomedics of Morris Plains, won in the biotechnology category for helping develop a protein-engineering platform technology that will aid in the creation of biological agents that will be used in a variety of biomedical applications.

Was my sons little league coach years ago. Nice guy, very dedicated to the kids, and I am sure just as passionate about his work. Nice to see him rewarded for his efforts
