Nutley's 'Tan Mom' Gets Help
After admitting she has a excessive tanning problem, Patricia Krentcil, stars in webisodes using the 'The Skin Regime' to improve her skin.
Using her name and fame, the 'Tan Mom' of Nutley, Patricia Krentcil, has teamed up with the author of 'The Skin Regime' in a series of webisodes on Youtube about improving her skin.
Currently featured on Dana Ramos's website for her book, 'The Skin Regime; Boot Camp for Beautiful Skin' , Krentcil stars in her first two webisodes, 'Tanning Mom Gets a Face Peel' and 'Adorable Anna.'
Last month, Krentcil and family acknowledged her problems with new fame and was getting help from the 'The Skin Regime' author, Ramos, of Westchester, NY, according to Huffingtonpost.
The announcement of the book on the Bedford-Katonah Patch, states it "presents a regime that improves all skin types, inexpensively and easily."
At least 5 percent of the proceeds will be donated to the Skin Cancer Foundation, the website states.
Krentcil was accused of allowing her daughter in a tanning salon bed, gaining the nation's attention in May. The case is set to be heard in front a New Jersey Grand Jury.
The 44-year-old mother pled not guilt to endangering her 5-year-old child but admitted to excessive tanning, NBC reported.
Krentcil was first charged with one count of endangering the welfare of a child, which is a second degree offense. If convicted, she could be jailed for up to a maximum of five years.
According to NBC, the father said it was a misunderstanding. Krentcil's daughter told her classmates she goes tanning with her mom. He thinks a teacher overheard, connecting the daughter's sunburn and called the police.
Ramos's website states, "We've met her, we know the story, and we believe her 100 percent."
Nutley Police Chief John Holland said Nutley Police arrested Krentcil for endangering the welfare of her five-year-old daughter at 10:45 a.m. on April 23. Her daughter was believed to have been burned at a tanning booth at an unspecified Nutley location, according to Holland.
