Nutley and Belleville residents who are fans of Trader Joe's can rejoice: The upscale grocery store is opening one town over in Clifton.

According to its website, Trader Joe's will unveil a new location at 259 Allwood Rd. in Clifton Friday, Nov. 16. The store will be open from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week and will not sell alcohol. (So much for two-buck chuck!)

Virtually next door to Nutley and Belleville, the new Clifton location is far more convenient than other locations in Millburn (10.5 miles away), Wayne (13.7 miles) and Florham Park (a whopping 22.5 miles).

The first Trader Joe's opened in Pasadena, Calif. in 1967.
