Urgently In Need of a Home
Two ragdoll cats, two vision-impaired cats and a beautiful German Shepherd are facing homelessness
Editor's Note: From time-to-time, readers contact Patch asking to post notices for pets who are in danger of homelessness or having other difficulties. The following pets are urgently in need of a home.
Please consider adopting these pets, or forwarding this message to your email list, or someone who might be interested. Contact information is listed below.
Two "Ragdoll" cats: Gorgeous longhaired cats, both eight years old, healthy, have been very well cared for and are extremely friendly and loving. Indoor-only cats. It would be preferred if no other pets live in their new home as, true to the Ragdoll breed, they are very docile. They are also great with kids.
If you are interested or know someone who is, the contact is Nan at 203-847-2152 or nansinclair@optonline.net or Beth at bethdebrook@yahoo.com.
German Shepherd dog: This beautiful guy needs a home. He is here in NJ. He is going to be 9 yrs old. Male-Neutered. Up to date with shots and Heart worm. Likes other dogs and lives with 3 cats. He still plays with his toys.
If you are interested or know someone who may be, contact Debbie at: debdardar1@netzero.net
Two young, vision-impaired cats:
A sad situation indeed, these two cats were abandoned by their owner when she moved in with her boyfriend --in January!
They have been getting food/water every 3-4 days since then but now are facing the street or kill shelter. They have only a few days.
Tiger is the tabby, male, neutered, Lily is the Tortie female and is spayed. Both are fiv/felv neg and will be UTD on shots
prior to placement.
They are 2.5 years old. They are a little shy and understandably scared, having gone so long without human contact, but are sweet cats who will warm up just fine once they are in a loving and safe situation.
Almost more tragic than being abandoned, is that we think they are also vision impared. I won't know the extent until a specialist can be seen, but the owner has told me that they have a "film" over their eyes. Can you imagine? Can't see properly and all alone?!
The need for a foster for these babies is truly urgent. They will be on the street in a matter of days.
They a quiet and safe place to stay and a kind human to make them know love again.
It's possible that I will have a foster open up for them in aprox 6 weeks, so that is the minimum we are looking for.
Many thanks for considering.
