Back to School Healthy Kids Fun Fair at Nutley's Middle School

On Thursday, there will be a Back to School Healthy Kids Fun Fair at John H. Walker Middle School from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Nutley parents and students are invited to take part see health-themed exhibits, displays and demonstrations.

The Nutley Library holds a story time for two-year-olds on Friday morning. The first session is at 9:30 and the second is at 10:45. Registration is required.

The annual Nutley VFW Ladies Auxiliary Beef Steak Dinner is Friday night from 6:30 to 10:30 on Friday at the V.F.W. Post #493 across from Nutley Animal Hospital. The $35 tickets includes dessert, beer, wine and soda. For tickets, contact Liz Meder at 973-780-7701. Proceeds benefit Ladies Auxiliary Programs that assist Veterans and Active Military.

On Saturday morning, the Belleville Police Department and the Department of Public Works hold their annual free Community Shred Day at the Senior center on 125 Franklin Ave from 9 to 12 p.m.

On Sunday, Nutley holds Civic Pride Day at the Market where residents can meet representatives from Nutley Civic Organizations.
