Math Program Overview for Parents Thursday Night

Nutley public schools offer a K-8 Math session for parents of K-8 students to give an overview of the mathematics program on Thursday night at at 6:30 p.m. in the John H. Walker Middle School Auditorium. 

On Saturday, Nutley officials host "Operation Anne," a Bone Marrow Donation Drive benefiting Nutley resident Anne Rotonda, a Leukemia patient in need of a bone marrow transplant. The drive takes place from 10 to 4 at the public affairs building at 149 Chestnut St. Email mblank@nutleynj.org or anicolette@nutleynj.org to register.

Belleville Knights of Columbus Council 835 host a chicken dinner from 4 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, to benefit the Knights of Columbus Vocations Fund. Meal includes salad, entrée, sides, drinks and dessert. Nutley's Board of Commissioners meeting, originally planned for Tuesday night, was rescheduled to Friday morning at 9 at the Municipal building.
