Schools are Out, Nutley's Board of Commissioners Meet

The Nutley Board of Commissioners, knocked off of schedule by Tuesday’s election, is scheduled to meet on Thursday night at 7 at the Municipal building.
Belleville’s Zoning Board meets at 7 on Thursday night at the Belleville Municipal building’s chambers.
Nutley’s Shade Tree Committee is scheduled to meet at 7:30 p.m. in Room 300 of the Parks & Recreation building at 44 Park Ave.

Nutley and Belleville Schools are closed on Thursday and Friday for the NJEA convention.
On Saturday, the Belleville Fire department is hosting a blood drive at their headquarters on 275 Franklin Ave. from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Residents are urged to take part to help Belleville firefighter Kevin Lissenden, who needs a blood transfusion.
