Scattered Weather Pattern Here Through Sunday

While high pressure will generally take control over the Philadelphia and New York City metropolitan areas today through Friday, a series of weak disturbances will keep isolated showers in the forecast.

Wednesday through Friday, scattered cloud cover can be expected with the threat for an isolated shower or two.  The showers will be capable of a heavy downpour.  Winds will be from the northwest at 10 to 20 mph.  Temperatures will rise into the upper 50s to lower 60s for highs this afternoon.  Temperatures tomorrow will range from the upper 30s to lower 40s for lows and lower to mid 60s for highs.

Temperatures on Friday will range from the mid 40s for lows and upper 60s to lower 70s for highs.

A more organized area of low pressure will approach on Saturday with scattered showers and isolated thunderstorms expected.  The showers and thunderstorms will be capable of heavy downpours, occasional lightning, and wind gusts up to 40 mph.

Temperatures will range from the lower 50s for lows and mid 60s for highs.

High pressure will be in control Sunday on through Tuesday with scattered cloud cover and a threat for an isolated shower or two.  Temperatures will range from the lower to mid 40s for lows and lower to mid 60s for highs.
