What's Coming up in Nutley?

Some short reminders of events coming up in town this week.

Here are just a few things to keep on your calendar over the next few days. 

  • The Nutley Planning Board will meet Wednesday night beginning at 7 p.m. at the municipal building, 149 Chestnut St., Nutley. Check the township website for the agenda.
  • The John H. Walker Foundation will hold its first of two March meetings tonight (the other meeting will be on March 21). Funds raised by the organization go towards student scholarships for John H. Walker Middle School students and Nutley High School students.   • The Nutley Parks and Recreation Department will hold pre- T-ball registration on March 14 from 7-8 p.m. at the Parks and Recreation Building, 44 Park Ave. There is a $20 registration fee required.
  • Nutley High School, 300 Franklin Ave., Nutley presents the musical, “Cabaret,” Thursday, March 15, 8 p.m., Friday, March 16, 8 p.m., Saturday, March 17 at 8 p.m. and a Sunday matinee on at 2 p.m. Tickets are $18 for Orchestra and $15 for general admission.
