Sordid Lives

“Sordid Lives”: A black comedy about white trash! This raucous comedy was nominated for over 30 awards during its long run in Los Angeles.   When Peggy, a good Christian woman, hits her head on the sink and bleeds to death after tripping over her lover's wooden legs in a motel room, chaos erupts in Winters, Texas.  This play contains adult language and themes, and is notsuitable for children. 

The cast includes: Anne Kenny Simpson, Cindy Summers, and Nelson Valentin, all of Bloomfield;  Claudine Boucherand and Brian Merrill, both of Lincoln Park; Donna O’Donnell-Figurski, Alex Oleksij, Bianca Sutlovich, and Janis Wolfe, all of Nutley; Jacqueline Schreiber of Parsippany; Paul Diverio of Ringwood; Don Sheffrin of Little Falls; and Cindy Rea of Hewitt. 

Evening performances of "Sordid Lives" are on June 8, 9, 15, 16, 21, 22, and 23.

Matinees are on June 10, 17, and 23.
The opening performance on June 8 is for the benefit of New Jersey Buddies, a support group for AIDS patients.

Tickets are $15, with a $2 discount for senior citizens and students with ID.
*For the Saturday, June 9 performance, $22 tickets include a post-show wine-and-cheese session with the cast.

Curtain is at 8 p.m. for evening performances and 2 p.m. for matinees.
