Former Roche Site Could Become Luxury Condos, Retirement Home or Hotel

Three options for the property outlined in report.

Planning firm Perkins Eastman earlier this month gave an overview of three possible plans for the former Roche site straddling Nutley and Clifton, NJ.com reports.

The first plan calls for biotech research and development and office space with a 200-room hotel and light industrial space. In addition, luxury condos townhouses and apartments would complement street level shops.

The second option proposes a central retirement community and a larger presence for light industrial with the hotel, biotech, office and residential portions reduced.

With the third scenario, 798 residential units, a 100-room hotel, large biotech facilities, offices and light industrial space would be developed alongside centrally located retirement community, according to NJ.com.
