“The Recovery House for Men addresses the growing need for effective community reintegration that is consistent with best practices in adult substance abuse treatment and recovery services,” said Robert J. Budsock, CEO of Integrity House.  “The support and services provided at the new house will help our male clients get back on track, toward a successful path of sustained recovery and fulfills a need for increased safe, sober-living environments.”

The new 40-bed facility at Integrity House represents a unique partnership model for non-profits, working with various State agencies and private funders.  It will meet the recovery needs of male adults with histories of addiction, mental health problems, homelessness and criminal justice involvement. The facility will provide a safe home for many individuals that are a part of New Jersey’s rapidly expanding Drug Court program, which focuses on treatment and recovery for non-violent drug offenders, and are in the process of becoming productive citizens in the community. A special aspect of the Integrity Recovery House for Men is its focus on employment and training, providing all tenants access to a dedicated vocational counselor to help them with sustainable employment, which is a critical component to long-term recovery.
