People waited hours, ran out of gas and pushed their cars to fill their tanks at the Exxon in Bloomfield. Yet, even though it might take some time waiting in a line that wraps around Belleville Avenue to Mill Street for almost a mile, that station has gas.
The station, at 75 Belleville Ave. in Bloomfield, refueled early Thursday morning. As of 11:30 a.m. the Exxon still had over 6,000 gallons, according to a Bloomfield police officer directing traffic into the station.
One pump is open just for poeple with gas cans. Over fifty people were holding empty cans in hand waiting to fill up.
