I've always loved juices, however today it can be difficult to find a juice that doesn't contain ingredients like added sugar, preservatives, and even color! This summer I decided to try out a few different fresh squeezed, homemade juices. With a bit of experimenting, I came up with one of my favorites: Pineapple Orange juice. This sweet summery juice is simple and packed with Vitamin C to keep you energized during the long, hot summer days!
-2 cups fresh squeezed orange juice (you can roll the oranges on your counter-top to make them easier to juice manually if you don't have a juicer)
-1 cup freshly diced pineapple
*If you want to drink your juice directly after, make sure your fruit has been chilled.
-Squeeze your oranges and make sure there are no seeds in your juice. (You can strain out the pulp if you prefer, however pulp holds much nutrition)
-Pour your juice into a blender and add the pineapple
-Mix until combined
-Pour your juice into individual glasses or into a pitcher
