John J. Perinotti, 82, of Belleville

Former Coca Cola employee is survived by wife, sons, daughter and grandchildren.

John J. Perinotti, 82 of Belleville, passed away on Sunday, October 27, 2013.

John was born in the Bronx, NY, his family moved to Long Island, and when he was ten years old, they relocated to Newark, NJ. He was a student in the first graduating class of First Avenue School in Newark. He was the valedictorian of his graduating class from Barringer High School in Newark. He attended Rutgers University in New Brunswick and married Irene Torricelli in 1951. He served in the United States Army attaining the rank of Staff Sergeant. He was a member of the Catholic War Veterans Father Owens Post #1187 for more than 50 years, serving as the post's treasurer for 40 years. He was the Treasurer of the State Department of Catholic War Veterans for 3 years.

Mr. Perinotti was self-employed in the retail food business for 25 years, then was employed in the Executive Offices of the Coca Cola Bottling Company of NY in Greenwich, CT as Office Services Manager and Human Resources Manager for 20 years.

He is survived by his wife Irene, daughter Debbie Brunner and her husband Ken, son Guy Perinotti and his wife Elaine (nee Mango), son John Perinotti and his wife Nikki (nee Leon), grandchildren Jaclyn, Stephanie, Kristin, Michael, Alyssa, Justin, Eric, and Cassi, great granddaughter Ava Nicole Segarra.

Services was conducted 11 am Thursday at the Megaro Memorial Home 503 Union Ave Belleville (megaromemorialhome.com). Entombment to follow in Hollywood Memorial Park Union. Visitation Wednesday 4-8 pm.
