Pasquale Avallone, Husband, Father, Grandfather and Great-Grandfather, Dies at 94

Nutley resident came to America from Italy in 1960.

Pasquale Avallone, 94, of Nutley, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2014 with his family by his side. He was born on April 17, 1919 in the small town of Olevano Sul Tusciano, Salerno, Italy. He married the love of his life, Rosa (nee Romano) in 1943.

Together with their sons, they immigrated to Newark in 1960 and moved to Nutley in 1967. He was a construction worker for A.D.S. construction, Middletown for over fifteen years before retiring.

He is survived by his beloved wife of 71 years Rosa; his devoted sons Frank and Bill, owners of Avallone Brothers Auto Body and their wives Rina and Anna; his loving sisters Maria and Rose Avallone in Italy; his cherished grandchildren Pasquale and wife Gabrielle, Vincenzo and wife Danielle, Rosanna, Antonio, and Cristina and precious great-grandson, Dante. He is also survived by his loving sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Avallone was predeceased by his parents Francesco and Maria (nee Perfetto) Avallone, his brothers Antonio and Carlo and sisters, Carmela and Eva.
