How Do You Eat Your Girl Scout Cookies?

Some people like them with milk, some like them with ice cream, but if you are like me, you probably like to eat an entire box at once.

Of course if you have any daughters, granddaughters, or nieces that are elementary school age, then you know that it’s Girl Scout cookie season. Beginning in late February, the Girl Scout nation put on their sashes, gathered up their cookie boxes, and started selling their delicious treats to the insatiable public.

In honor of the 102nd anniversary of the founding of the Girl Scouts, we brought in five experts on the subject and asked them a couple of questions. Here is what the girls from Girl Scouts of Northern New Jersey Troop #998had to say!

“What are your top three bestselling cookies?”

1. Thin Mints – the round, mint flavored cookies with a delicious chocolaty coating.

2. Samoa’s – Vanilla cookies coated in caramel, sprinkled with toasted coconut, and laced with chocolaty stripes.

3. Tagalongs – Crispy vanilla cookies layered with peanut butter and covered with a chocolaty coating.

“What is your favorite cookie and how do you like to eat it?”

Emma – “My favorite are the Samoa’s and I love to freeze them first!”

Naomi – “Thin mints are my favorite and I eat them by the box!”

Victoria – “I love Tagalongs and I eat them every day!”

Francesca – “Samoa’s are my favorite. I like to put them in the fridge and eat them anytime!”

Julianne – “My favorite cookies are the Tagalongs and I like to dip them in a glass of milk!”
