LETTER TO THE EDITOR

Nutley Mayor Alphonse Petracco recognizes all those who helped his campaign, congratulates winners and lauds all who campaigned.

The following is a letter from Nutley Mayor Alphonse Petracco:

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who expressed confidence in me during my recent bid for re-election.

I am truly humbled by the results and I am so very grateful to have been given the opportunity to represent my fellow residents for the next four years. You may be certain that I will work diligently on your behalf, and continue to be the voice of the hard working men and women who make this town what it is.

I would also like to congratulate my fellow Commissioners on their re-elections as well.  Joe Scarpelli, Tom Evans and Mauro Tucci have done excellent jobs in their respective departments and I look forward to continuing the teamwork that we have built over the past four years.

To our newest team member, Commissioner Steve Rogers, I extend my warmest welcome. I’m sure he will do a great job.

Finally, I wish to thank all of the other candidates who ran outstanding campaigns. Fred Scalera, Ken Reilly, John Cafone, and Sam Fleitell are all civic minded individuals who have always gone above and beyond for our community.

Again, I look forward to serving as your Mayor, and I will work tirelessly on your behalf.

Putting Nutley first,

Alphonse Petracco
