Essex County Man Arrested for Sexual Assault Against a Child, Prosecutor Says

William Siudmak, 55, of Roseland, was arrested Friday and is out on $250,000 bail.

A 55-year-old Essex County man was arrested on charges of sexual assault against a child, according to county prosecutors. 

William Siudmak, 55, of Roseland, was arrested Friday and charged with two counts of aggravated sexual assault, four counts of sexual assault and six counts of endangering the welfare of a child, Acting Essex County Prosecutor Carolyn A. Murray and Roseland Police Chief Richard McDonough announced in a joint statement Monday. 

The crimes are alleged to have occurred against a child between January 2006 and December 2007. Siudmak is currently out of custody on $250,000 bail, officials said.

The investigation into this case was a joint investigation between the Essex County Prosecutor’s Office, the Warren County Prosecutor’s Office, the New Jersey State Police and the Roseland Police Department.
