Essex County to Renovate Senior Building

Essex County officials are scheduled to announce plans to renovate the Senior Building in Essex County Belleville Park on Monday at noon.

The upgrades are part of the County Executive Joseph N. DiVincenzo, Jr.'s ongoing initiative to modernize facilities and infrastructure, and ensure the historic Essex County Park System continues to meet the recreation needs of the community, according to officials.

Specifics of the renovation are as of yet unknown.

Community groups that use the building and local elected officials were invited to join the county executive.
