Local Justice: Decisions in the Nutley Municipal Court

The Nutley Municipal Court recently handled these two matters concerning controlled dangerous substances.

In State v. Paul Malcyznski, of Nutley, the State charged defendant with possessing drug paraphernalia on March 12. The defendant pleaded guilty to the charge.  The Court imposed a one year term of probation and imposed fees and costs totaling $125.

In State v. Vladimir Vargas, of Newark, the State charged defendant with possessing under 50 grams of a controlled dangerous substance on March 25.  The charge resulted in a conditional discharge.  The Court imposed a one year term of probation and imposed fees and costs totaling $125.
