Nutley: Heating Center Opening at 44 Park Ave.

Township releases info for those who need shelter

For those Nutley Residents that still remain without power, a warming center will be open tonight from 6pm on, in Room 300 of the Frank A. Cocchiola Parks and Recreation Building at 44 Park Avenue.

There are a limited number of cots and blankets, so please bring things that will make you comfortable, such as a chair, pillow and blanket.  The room is warm and has electricity for charging your devices.

The John Walker Middle School is open today until 3pm and has electricity and wifi available to residents in need.  If anyone needs a warm place to go between 3 and 6, the Department of Public Affairs at 149 Chestnut Street will be open.
