Payless Shoe Source, 361 Main St. in Belleville sells trendy shoes, sneakers and boots for an affordable cost. Brands such as American Eagle, Champion and Airwalk can be found at this store. Cosmetics and handbags can also be purchased.

The store’s manager said Monday that the back to school rush hasn’t hit yet, but that the staff is ready, and said shoppers can check out the website for specific details.
At Famous Footwear, 32 Main St., Clifton, Jeff, the store manager, said business is “light” right now, but invited parents and their kids to come on down. The manager said a lot can be found on the company website.

“We have largest selection in the area,” he said. “We usually get a lot last minute shoppers, but we’re ready when it happens.”
Kohl’s Department Store, at 14 Main St. in Clifton, has a fully stocked shoe department. The salesman who answered the special shoe department telephone line said shoppers can call or go on the store’s website to find what they are looking for before they even come to buy.
