Nutley, Belleville Schools Closed on Friday

Nutley and Belleville public schools will both be closed Fridays due to the snowstorm predicted for Thursday night, the districts announced on Thursday night.

Very low temps and up to 10 inches of snow expected in this week’s weather emergency, the first snowstorm of 2014.

Nutley schools announced that all school activities are canceled as well.

New Jersey is under a State of Emergency as of Thursday evening due to the coming snowstorm.

All state offices will also be closed for non-essential employees on Friday.
