Nutley Accepting Recreation Basketball Registrations

Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci and the Nutley Department of Parks & Recreation are currently accepting Recreation Basketball registration forms for the 2013-2014 season.  This program is open to Nutley youth in grades 3 through 8. 

Youngsters will participate on teams that compete in a recreational league format. Teams are grouped in Divisions by grade. Boys and girls will play in separate leagues. Teams will be randomly selected based on prior year evaluations and grade level.

The philosophy of this program is to provide ample playing time for all participants, teach the fundamentals of individual and team play, and encourage sportsmanship. “The most important aspect of this program is for the young players to get positive exposure to this lifetime activity” stated Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci.  The deadline to register for Recreation Basketball will be October 18, 2013.

The fee for this program is $40.00 per player.  Individual flyers will be available at www.nutleynj.org.  Please see flyer for rating schedule.
