Registration for Fall Zumba Classes Now Open

Latin-flavored dance aerobic classes start in September.

Tired of the same old workout routine?  Spice up your sweating with Zumba.

Commissioner Mauro G. Tucci this week announced that registration for the Fall Session of Nutley’s Zumba is now open.   Taught by certified Zumba Instructor Yolanda Merritt,  the class will incorporate the hottest Latin rhythms with the newest dance moves to heat up your exercise routine. 

The combination of  Latin dance moves and aerobic workout is sure to provide maximum workout results.

The organizers say the movements are easy to learn and that participants can work at their own pace.

“Our programs produce great results and we encourage residents to stay healthy and have fun through the various exercise programs we offer,” Tucci said in an email.

Held at the Recreation Annex Building at 65 Bloomfield Ave, the program will be offered on Tuesday and Thursday evenings beginning on September 3, 2013 from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.  There is a $60 fee for the program, which is open to Nutley residents only.

Pre-registration is required. Online Registration is now available at www.nutleynj.org and applications are available in the Recreation Office at 44 Park Ave.
