Cruisin’ at Nutley Returns Tuesday

Classic cars return for township tradition.

Looking for some hot rods?

Cruisin’ at Nutley, kicks off on Tuesday, May 7 and runs through September from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Municipal Parking Lot #1.

The event will feature cars of all makes and models up to the year 1986.

“I am looking forward to bringing back this classic tradition,” commented Commissioner Dr. Joseph P. Scarpelli. “Families can come down and enjoy the classics, restored and custom vehicles from back in the day, while also enjoying the downtown area,” said the Commissioner.

Commissioner Scarpelli and the DPW worked closely with local business owner, John Griffith of Griffith Shade, to make this event a reality. Griffith played an integral role in getting past local classic car events started in the area.

All are welcome to participate – individual classic car owners and car club participants.  There is no need to pre-register and is the event free for both spectators and car owners. Local area businesses are also welcome to support the event by offering discounts to Cruisin’ at Nutley participants on event day Tuesdays.
