The Thrift Shop at the New Life Body of Christ Church in Belleville sells donated items of new and gently used clothing, household items, and some furniture. All items are sold at reasonable prices, which makes them affordable to local area residents.
A recent visit revealed elegant satin pumps for sale, costume jewelry, retro-style figurines, and racks upon racks of clothing.
All proceeds from The Thrift Shop are used for community outreach programs. Items that haven't sold within one month are given away.

Hours of Operation: Wednesdays to Saturdays, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The church also hosts a soup kitchen from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Tuesdays and Saturdays, according to a store staffer.
