First Relay for Life Interest Meeting Monday Night

Nutley is looking for a few good night owls to help in the fight against cancer.

The first official interest meeting for “The Eighth Annual American Cancer Society's Relay For Life of Nutley'” is Monday night at the Parks and Recreation Department at 44 Park Ave, Room 300 at 6:30.

At Relay For Life events, communities worldwide join together to honor cancer survivors and fight back against the disease.

Relay For Life teams camp out overnight and take turns walking around DeMuro track over night event. Because cancer never sleeps, each team is asked to have at least one member on the track at all times.

With plans underway for Nutley’s eighth Annual Relay for Life, we are calling on the community to assist us in making this our most successful Relay yet. Organizers said the Nutley community has raised over $700,000 to date.
