Nutley Public Health Reserve Seeks Members

New volunteer group will provide aid in emergencies.

The Nutley Health Department, in partnership with the Greater Montclair Health Reserve Corps, is creating a Nutley Chapter to train and supplement the existing emergency services in responding to public health and other emergencies.

The new chapter will be known as the Nutley Public Health Reserve Corps.

Any Nutley citizen 18 years and older can volunteer to become part of the new Nutley Public Health Reserve Corps. Citizens who are not health care professionals are encouraged to apply and are needed for a variety of tasks including, but not be limited to, direct patient care, administrative duties, and warming/cooling station functions.
