Belleville Continues Talks on Roche Property, Tax Payments Due This Week

Belleville’s Municipal Council meets on Monday, a day earlier than originally scheduled. Officials are scheduled to discuss the former Roche property during closed session. In a July meeting, the council discussed options for developing the 19-acre former Roche Diagnostic property near Clara Maass hospital.

Monday is the last Day for Belleville residents to pay property taxes without interest.

Nutley holds its weekly “Cruisin’ at Nutley” event on Tuesday at 6 p.m. The free classic car show takes place at Municipal Lot No. 1, at the intersection of Franklin Avenue and Williams Street.

Nutley’s Planning Board meets at the Nutley Municipal Building in the Commission Chambers on Wednesday at 7 p.m.
