Shred and Get Fed This weekend in Belleville, Nutley

The annual Nutley VFW Ladies Auxiliary Beef Steak Dinner is Friday night from 6:30 to 10:30 on Friday at the V.F.W. Post #493 across from Nutley Animal Hospital. Tickets for the dinner, which includes dessert, beer, wine and soda, are $35. For tickets, contact Liz Meder at 973-780-7701. Proceeds benefit Ladies Auxiliary programs that assist veterans and active Military.

Nutley hosts a town-wide Garage Sale on Sunday from 8 a.m. The Greenutley-sponsored event takes place throughout the township; click here for a map of locations. 

On Saturday morning, the Belleville Police Department and the Department of Public Works hold their annual free Community Shred Day at the Senior center on 125 Franklin Ave from 9 to 12 p.m.

On Sunday, Nutley holds Civic Pride Day at the Market where residents can meet representatives from Nutley Civic Organizations.
