Clara Maass to Open New Cancer Center Thursday
State-of-the-art facility will offer comprehensive care to cancer patients - ranging from oncology appointments to nutrition counseling.
Clara Maass Medical Center is holding the grand opening of The Cancer Center, which will be dedicated at a formal ribbon-cutting ceremony from 3 to 5 p.m. on Thursday. “This comprehensive cancer center will allow patients to consult with doctors, receive treatments and experience a complement of other services all in one location,” said Mary Ellen Clyne, Ph.D., President and Chief Executive Officer of Clara Maass Medical Center. “Patient navigators will assist cancer patients with their appointments, treatments and other needs, in a single convenient location on the Clara Maass campus, which will make it easier for family members to be a part of the healing process.” The Medical Director of The Cancer Center at Clara Maass Medical …
