Government Meetings, Public Health Screenings and English Tea in the Week Ahead

A look ahead at noteworthy and events and news.

  Nutley Schools Superintendent Russell Lazovick leads an informational meeting on the new NJDOE School Performance Reports at 6 p.m. in the auditorium of J.H.W. Middle School on Monday. The event is open to the public.  On Tuesday, Belleville’s Municipal Council meets at 7 p.m. at the Council Chambers in Town Hall. The agenda is not yet available online. Also on Tuesday, Nutley hosts a free, walk-in Blood Pressure Screening at the public affairs building from 1:30 p.m. to 3 p.m Kingsland Manor hosts and sponsors the Nutley Antique Show & Sale sponsored on Saturday. From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., antique dealers will offer a wide array of high quality merchandise ranging from jewelry to furniture, vintage clothing and accessories and memorabilia …

The Week Ahead: Blood Drives, Parades and More

Monday Nutley's Board of Education meets at 6:30 p.m. at the JHWMS Music Room. The meeting's agenda is available online here.  Nutley's office of Public Affairs hosts a free blood pressure screening tonight and tomorrow night from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.  Tuesday Belleville's Municipal Council meets at at 7 p.m. at council chambers in the Municipal Building.  The Nutley High School Girls Varsity Basketball takes on Colonia High School in a 7 p.m. home game.  Thursday There will be a Blood Drive at V.F.W. Post #493 (Across from Nutley Animal Hospital) from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. All donors must present I.D and first time donors must know thier social security numbers# at the time of donation.  All blood donors must weigh a minimum of 120lbs…
