Missing Woman Found Safe, a Million-Mile Traveler and Holiday Celebrations

A missing Nutley woman was found unharmed the day after police asked for the public’s help in locating her. Several cars parked on the same Belleville street were all vandalized. Two units at a Mill Street apartment complex in Belleville were burglarized, with tens of thousands of dollars’ worth of cash and merchandise reported stolen.  A motorist was arrested on drug charges after Belleville police stopped his vehicle because a headlight was out. Six temporary jobs in Belleville and an additional three in Nutley were created with federal money. The workers will assist with cleanup efforts related to Hurricane Sandy. Nutley Resident Hits a Million-Mile Record

Stuker is airline's first flier to crack seven figures in one year

There’s frequent fliers. And then there’s Tom Stuker. United Airlines announced earlier this month that Stuker became its first customer ever to travel 1 million miles in a calendar year, a milestone reached during a Dec. 6 flight from London to Chicago. The distance is equivalent to circling the globe 40 times, or two round-trips to the moon -- with miles to spare. Overall, Stuker, who has homes in Nutley and suburban Chicago, has flown 13 million miles, one of the highest totals among commercial aviation travelers, the airline said in a statement.  Last year United honored Stuker after he became the first person to travel 10 million miles on United. Wow! I can't wAit to see this show. I've been in the car business since 99 and that is when I met Tom. I have been to several of his training classes in Chicago and will say it is excellent. I still know all his scripts.   more ›
