Jack, It should be more than readily apparent that (in most instances) the incivility on The Patch is a result of the website allowing people to post using psuedonyms.

This provided them with free license to engage in unsubstantiated character assassination against real human beings with families and reputations...and should not be accceptable under the guise of free speech.
