Yes, all the restaurants that are not in the 2012 "conditionally satisfactory" list are satisfactory and passed state health codes. Also, all the restaurants listed as conditionally satisfactory in 2012 corrected their violations and are listed as satisfactory now, except Tuptim Thai Cuisine and Uptown Bistro — as stated above.

Yes! After funding for the annual celebration was cut a few years ago, these fundraising events are the only thing keeping it alive. Without local support, there will be no 4th of July celebration.

ReplyI need to make a correction to the article: Montclair does not have any Priority Schools, as stated in the original post.
Hillside Elementary, Mount Hebron Middle School, Northeast Elementary School and Renaissance at Rand Middle School were incorrectly labeled Priority Schools. The four schools rather have not met their yearly progress targets for student proficiency.
